Series 9, Episode 9: "Kindness Of Strangers"

An confused ex soldier befriends a boy (Mark) living in a caravan on his land, and he mistakenly assumes that he is his son, when in fact his son had been killed in the armed forces. The boy ends up stealing a few things from the old man to support his pregnant girlfriend. The old man later is found injured after having a whisky decanter thrown at him at it looks as if it is due to Mark. But it turns out the it was the man's daughter who did it when she lost her temper during a row about family issues and her husband helped her cover up the crime. Claude is organising a car rally - but is unfortunately open to bribes about advanced notice of the course route. Phil ends up driving with his Gran and Gina with her new boyfriend Andy.
